MAPLE BLUES AWARDS TALENT ANNOUNCED
The intimate gala takes place January 30th at Harbourfront Centre Theatre
Artists from British Columbia, Alberta, Quebec, and Ontario invited to perform
The 26th annual Maple Blues Awards is the most anticipated blues event of 2023 and will include performances from nominees Blue Moon Marquee, Paul Reddick & Kyle Ferguson, Meghan Parnell & Dave Barnes (Bywater Call), Kevin Harvey (Durham County Poets), and Ann Vriend. Produced by The Toronto Blues Society, the gala evening will be hosted for the evening by Quisha Wint and feature newly signed Cordova Bay Recording Artists, The Maple Blues Band. The esteemed house band for the Maple Blues Awards is comprised of Gary Kendall (bassist / band leader / MBA musical director), Pat Carey (tenor saxophone / horn arrangements), Teddy Leonard (guitar), Al Lerman (harmonica / acoustic guitar), Jim Casson (drums), Howard Moore (trumpet), Lance Anderson (piano / organ / accordion), Meirion (Mei) Kelly (trombone), Alison Young (baritone / tenor saxophone) and Roshane Wright (percussion). The Maple Blues Awards will take place Monday January 30th, 2023, 7:00pm at the Harbourfront Centre Theatre (231 Queens Quay West, Toronto), followed by a meet and greet and socializing with friends and fans alike.
